Artist Statement

Being an artist, designer, and educator gives me the ability to stretch my capacity to empathize and persevere, to create, and to share. Whether through art, design, or personalized instruction, I strive to deliver excellent content.

Choosing to make art is choosing the opportunity to slow down. It is in these moments that I can discover who I am, what motivates me and where I should go next. I can sort through my thoughts, chase down my curiosities, and work through the big ideas that just won’t leave me alone.

Creativity, innovation, and expression are where I make my home. This is the place I will always return to. This is the lens that allows me to see. This is how I choose to share with the world.
